Samsung Virtual Reality x Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam

During the 26th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam Samsung offers the possibility of a Front Row Virtual Reality Experience. A 360 camera records the three opening catwalk shows. The 360 ​​content will be available through Samsung’s social media channels. It is the first time Amsterdam Fashion Week is using Virtual Reality in collaboration with different designers featuring their catwalk shows.

The opening night (26th of January) of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam’s theme is ‘imagine’. Led by art director Peter Leferink.

Designer duo ‘Martan (Luuk Kuijf and Diek Pothoven) opens the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam with a show based on Bahá’í temples. “The show demonstrates an optimistic picture of the future and exactly why Future Generation starts Fashion Week this.” Then join Anouk van Klaveren, Christa van der Meer, Dewi Bekker and Gino Anthonisse four personal visions forces as the collective ‘Das Leben am Haverkamp’ . Nine design talents conclude the evening with “The Painting”, a show as a Dutch Masterpiece in white. It is white for faith, hope and love.
