Dutch lifestyle jeansbrand CHASIN’ presents its Fall/Winter ’17 collection during Pitti Uomo. The brand embodies an unmistakable urban signature, exploring the dynamic between jeans, sportswear and youth culture. With this eclectic mix, CHASIN’ creates a contemporary DNA and a unique position in the world of men’s jeans. The collection revolves around 3 themes, main theme being ‘Wolves in the City’. The exclusive ‘Royal Attitude’ collaboration is also part of the collection, after its debut last season at Pitti. For this unique project, CHASIN’ created jeans out of recycled navy uniforms from the Royal Netherlands Navy.
Backyard Amsterdam was the destination of choice for the F/W ’17 campaign. You know what that means: party time! Dutch photographer and filmmaker Joost Vandebrug documented the crazy adventure. A cool loft, fully stuffed bar and Dutch DJ duo Sweetbeats created a killer vibe. Next to Vandebrug, Greek Steve Milatos is a usual suspect for CHASIN’. Steve, model and dancer, also showed his moves in the latest #STRETCHYOUREGO campaign.
‘Wolves in the City’ is the personification of the CHASIN’ state of mind. An urban collection, soaked with CHASIN’ DNA through a mix of jeans, sportswear en youth culture. Key elements are functional sports influences, washed treatments and biker details. The colour palette incorporates nature mixed with urban tones. Expect brown, grey and army, alternated with hard accents like black, grey, blue and red. Key items in the collection are biker jeans, bomber jackets and sweaters. Bold graphics and badges of CHASIN’ artworks create a unique style.
The second theme is ́Urban Warrior ́. This theme oscillates between music and fashion. Styles for the true nowadays’ rockstar! A mix of outstanding silhouettes in knitwear, washed tees and leather jackets. Perfect to create a layered look, through long and comfortable silhouettes. Main colours consist of black, grey, naturals and pastels.
The final theme, ’92 Cyberstreet’, represents a contemporary approach to the world of jeans- and sportswear through futuristic and technical details. A fresh and light collection, combining sporty colour schemes like black, white and grey with bold blue accents.
For Fall / Winter ’17, the second instalment of Royal Attitude is a fact! CHASIN’ created jeans out of recycled navy uniforms from the Royal Netherlands Navy for this unique project. The brand analysed the uniforms, only to transform them into a contempory denim fabric. This time around, CHASIN’ also took some iconic pieces like the Palmer bomber and an EGO 5 pocket jeans and reimaged them using the beautiful naval uniforms as a bases. The project was conceived together with James Veenhoff, founder of House of Denim Amsterdam. Joost Vandebrug was responsible for the photography.
