Chanel Paris in Rome 2015/16 Métiers d’Art

Last week at Cinecittà film studios in Italy, Chanel’s Paris-Rome Métiers d’Art collection literally brought Paris to Rome. The latest of Karl Lagerfeld’s extraordinary mastermind transformed the entire set into a replica of a nostalgic Parisian street—complete with a boulangerie, le métro station, and a cinema—all in Chanel’s signature black and white. A screening of Karl’s anticipated fictional biopic “Chanel Once and Forever” kicked off the event, before 88 new looks hit the runway. Karl and a his handsome newspaper boys (including Chanel’s youngest star, Hudson Kroenig) closed the show as the set’s street came alive to signal the start of the collection’s after-hours soirée.
