Floating on Cloud 9
Yesterday we posted our first ILL-Collaboration-Shoot with the fabulous Cloud Nine Store.
Seen as we do it all and that we were in the store shooting, we just couldn’t resist having a chat with one of the brains behind the concept of Cloud Nine Store! First of all, standing outside, having a smoke and chatting with Rogier (one of the owners), it becomes soooo clear why Cloud Nine Store is situated where it is…super friendly people, walking and biking by, all breaking their necks just to say hi and have a little chat. From clothing stores, grocery stores, coffee shops (the ones where you buy coffee and also the other kinds) to drycleaners..it’s all there in one street…
After chatting up a storm we go inside…Just putting one foot inside you immediately GET the name of the store..It’s like you actually ARE on Cloud Nine. A clean white space, not very big, but ooh so welcoming, not to mention the faded white brick wall when you enter…my absolute favorite! And the products…oooh the products, a wide variety, speak for them selves. Quality above quantity, which is a rare commodity in a store these days! Cloud Nine Store has a bit of everything for the ladies and the gents…Not just fashion-brands such as; United Nude, Denham, Cheap Monday and Full Circle, but also Books by Taschen, kitchen accessories by Eva Solo and not to forget the jewelry by Club Manhattan and sunglasses by Triwa & Jill Sander…Bottom-line Cloud Nine Store is a little piece of heaven centered in the heart of Amsterdam!
